Do I need a frame?

Upon arrival, whether cradled or float-mounted, your original panel is equipped and ready to hang. However you also always have the option to frame at any time. I recommend a ‘floater frame’ which offers a clean contemporary finish.

Do you use a varnish?

Yes. After completion, I apply a water-based UVLS (UV-protected) acrylic polymer clear matte finish. This protects the art surface from harsh light and other elements. It also creates a non-reflective matte finish.

Is each piece handmade and one of a kind?

Yes. All of my originals are one of a kind and created by me (Al Schwartz). These are all unique and collectible works of art.

How do I clean my art?

If you feel the need to dust or lightly clean your panel, I recommend using an ultra-soft, non-abrasive dry cloth. It’s always good to try a small area first to make sure you are not damaging the surface. On the rare occasion, if there is a reason to clean further, you can slightly dampen the cloth, being careful not to rub too hard.

What about shipping?

Original paintings are professionally packed and, for all USA destinations, usually shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, insurance included. In some cases where the package is too large, I will ship via freight. Shipping fees vary depending on size. Please inquire directly for an actual quote.

Do you offer returns?

If you would like to return your artwork, I accept exchanges within 7 days; the customer is responsible for return shipping, it must be fully insured, and the art must be returned in exact condition. The cost of reshipping the replacement art is also the customer’s responsibility.
